You ever notice how no one likes their drivers license picture? I think I was making a weird face. I dunno.
sweaty chickens or chicken sweaters?
by Leo on November 10, 2011 at 9:16 PMWhy might you ask do I put my chickens in sweaters? Because the don’t make pajama jeans in their size.
I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned

This picture is a snapshot of my cat Skippy Jon Jones. I’ve been promising him some face time, so here it is… here is your 15 minutes of fame Mr. Jones.
Good things are brewing, so be sure to check back soon!
so I was working on my computer (you know looking at cats running into walls and things like that on youtube) and all of a sudden.. suddenly BAM!!! my computer just quits. yep. just sort of stops and never starts up again. I go through all of the 5 STAGES . Don’t know the 5 stages? Here they are…
The stages, popularly known by the acronym DABDA, include:[2]
- Denial — “I feel fine.”; “This can’t be happening, not to me.”
- Anger — “Why me? It’s not fair!”; “How can this happen to me?”; ‘”Who is to blame?”
- Bargaining — “I’ll do anything for a few more years.”; “I will give my life savings if…”
- Depression — “I’m so sad, why bother with anything?”; “I’m going to die soon so whats the point… What’s the point?”; “I miss my loved one, why go on?”
- Acceptance — “It’s going to be okay.”; “I can’t fight it, I may as well prepare for it.”
There you go. thats what I have been doing the last 4 weeks. But you might ask yourself how was I able to post a new page every week with out a computer? ah see , I have them all done already so they are all up loaded and ready to go. So that why my blogging has been so… spotty - see that six there to the left? that just popped up. I can’t seem to get rid of it. You see ladies and gents I’m really nothing more then a trained chimp when it comes to computers. I’m betting that when I hit “return” that a seven is going to appear. Oh well, at least I’m back and I AM REALLY EXCITED about the wonderful things that God is doing in my life and the AYDELLON. Good things! well please drop me a line and lemme know what you think of the comic. okay lets see that seven come up..
- yep. just like I said…Dr.Beltran
the following is something i did not write, but it is what i feel.
When I was a kid, my parents sent me to a private class to learn how to draw. They did this because I liked doodling. I have since seen the doodles I used to do and they are very crappy (I wasn’t a prodigy). So they sent me to this class, I learned how to draw, I took more classes where I learned how to draw better, then I went to college for physical chemistry, decided it was fun but I wasn’t good enough and decided to draw more since I knew how to do it some and now I am a drawing and painting teacher prof.
Doesn’t everyone have their first drawing class or piano class. Were they gifted before that? Most were not. Where did it start? As far as I can tell, most “gifted” people usually stink at something until they went somewhere to learn how to do it. Someone taught them. Someone taught me.
So why do parents insist kids do math, science, reading and then say “creativity can’t be forced”. I always learned that doing creative stuff was 99% work and 1% inspiration. If I told my prof. at graduate school that I was waiting for my muse, he would have thrown a book at my head.
So why not start early. Kids need to learn what letters are, what colors are, what shapes are, how to work a paintbrush, or how to make a musical chord, what numbers are, how to read? Why sit back and say “leave her alone, she doesn’t have the creative bug at the moment, don’t force her…” Is it because it isn’t “needed” or is it really because people think it shouldn’t be “forced”.
Try to ignore my previous question I asked. I should have let her finish the drawing at a later time, ok? I really want to know why people insist kids learn their letters but also insist that creativity can’t be taught and shouldn’t be pushed.
so, like i said i did not write this, but this is the TRUTH. hope this encourages some.

here is a pencil test of the troubled KU. when doing walk cycles I try to think of how the character is feeling as well as what he is thinking. In this test he just came back from a scheme of his that has just turned sour. Maybe he was gambling and it didnt pay off. Whatever it is, he feels like he is the victim and everyone is against him. what do you think?
so here is a picture of Bunny Foo Foo, as you might notice he is ANIMATED, pretty cool huh? you guys have got to try this new software!!!! I am also going to post the rest of the cast doing walks and takes and stuff like that. fun fun fun!
you gotta click on the image then go to youtube and search for the song BATMAN BEGINS MOLOSSUS. watch bunny foo foo as he runs to the song. eat a pop tart with butter.

So the sketchbook is the most wonderful hand held device known. its cheap and does not need batteries nor do you need to plug it in. I thought that i would share with you my sketch book drawings.
Keeping a sketchbook is a great way of keeping track of creative ideas and getting in the habit of regular drawing, as well as being a useful resource for large works when you are feeling short on ideas.
Remember that not every drawing you do needs to be a finished work of art. You can use a sketchbook for rough notes, thumbnails and ideas, too. When you open your sketchbook, think about what your intention is for your drawing session. While trying something challenging is always worthwhile, simple subjects can often be rewarding. Don’t feel constrained by what others think art should be about – make your drawings about whatever you find interesting, be it an unusual object, an interesting face, a beautiful landscape or an invented fantasy.
the one i have posted up right now is from when i was trying to get a job doing creature design for MIB movie. ahhh another rejection, Don’t call us we’ll call you. oh well! DR.Beltran
